This performance of Handel’s greatest oratorio commemorated the 250th anniversary of his death in 1759. It was Oldham Choral Society’s first concert in the brand new Middleton Arena.

The concert was very successful and was well-received.  Matthew Moss sang tenor in place of Huw Rhys Evans, who was ill.  Click here to see a review by the Oldham Chronicle.
